REFUND + RETURNS

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (the “Policy”) governs the purchase of digital material products from layoutloom (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated in Singapore. By purchasing digital products via www.layoutloom.com, you (the “Customer”) agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Nature of Digital Products

All products available on our website are digital assets delivered via instant download or electronic means. These are non-tangible, irrevocable digital goods provided on a “one-time purchase” basis. We do not offer subscription-based services; each transaction is a final, single-use purchase for the specific digital material selected.

2. European Union Consumer Rights & Waiver of Withdrawal

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers within the European Union normally have a 14-day “cooling-off” period to withdraw from online purchases.

However, by proceeding with your purchase and clicking the “Download” button or accessing the digital files provided, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you hereby waive and forfeit your right to a 14-day withdrawal period or any “no-reason” refund. Once the digital delivery process has commenced, the transaction is deemed consumed and is non-refundable.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only considered under the following limited circumstances:

  • Non-delivery: Due to technical issues on our server or mailing system, the customer does not receive the download link within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Major Defects: The digital file is corrupted or technically unusable (and cannot be rectified by our support team).

Refund requests must be submitted to materials@layoutloom.com within 7 days of the original purchase date.

4. Payment Methods

All transactions are processed securely. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

In the event of an approved refund, the funds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the purchase. Please note that bank processing times for Visa, Mastercard, or American Express may vary, typically taking 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly at materials@layoutloom.com to resolve any issues. As our products are digital and delivered instantly, we maintain a comprehensive log of delivery timestamps and IP access. This data will be provided to the relevant card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Stripe to contest any unjustified “product not received” claims or chargebacks.

6. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, while respecting the mandatory consumer protection regulations of the European Union member states where our customers reside.
